Demi McGoldrick is an Associate Lawyer for Brazeau Seller Law, a firm that specializes in estate and trust planning. She helps create estate planning solutions for clients and their families, drafts wills and powers of attorney and assists executors with estate administration. Demi obtained a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Edinburgh Law School as well as the Bar Admission from The Law Society of Upper Canada, following her move to Ontario.

Demi joins me today to share how important it is for millennials to prepare estate planning documents. She explains what traditional estate planning means and how it differs for millennials. She explains what happens if you die without a will and how the law considers common-law spouses, which are more commonplace for the millennial generation. She also touches on how estate planning differs when there is more debt than assets.
