Michael Hyatt is the Co-Founder and a Director of BlueCat Networks Inc. He is a tech visionary and is widely known as one of Canada’s top entrepreneurs, a finalist for the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and a recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 Award. Michael joins me today to reveal the differences between being rich and wealthy, along with the ethos that has enabled his success. He shares his views on how entrepreneurs can start and develop successful businesses and discusses entrepreneurism from multiple angles. He explains how technology and AI are changing the world we live and work, and the traits that people will soon need to find success. He also shares his views on why emotional intelligence will be far more crucial than intellectual intelligence, as society further adopts and utilizes powerful computation and data.

“A lot of people think entrepreneurs have a genetic predisposition, but it can all be taught. You simply need to have the toughness to keep going. - Michael Hyatt

Michael Hyatt’s Fun Frank Advice for Self-Made Millionaires & Wealthy Families:

  • If you start a company, then you should focus on doing one thing well. If you do start a company and it’s not working out, then it is okay to stop, ask for help, and not to go forward so fast.
