Self-improvement for entrepreneurs is an important quality. We, the Self-Made Nation, need to learn from others as much as we learn from our own experiences. I recently attended a conference for professional self-development where Susan O’Malley delivered an eye-opening keynote speech about eight rules to live by. I think it’s worthwhile for us to learn from her wisdom.
In today’s episode, I share Susan O’Malley’s eight rules to live by. I explain how making your bed first thing in the morning could set the tone for the entire day. I discuss the benefits of making a plan and focusing on improving your craft. I emphasize the importance of setting clear expectations for yourself and others. I also share a piece of advice I received from my father as well as explain why we need to have fun with everything that we do.
