Christopher Arnold is a family law expert with over 24 years of experience helping families settle legal disputes throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. He helped establish Collaborative Practice Ottawa and is passionate about helping families resolve their legal disputes through respectful discussions and negotiations. He is an Adjunct Professor who teaches Collaborative Family Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa and is a past president and board member of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation. He obtained his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa.
Christopher joins me today to share the benefits of conscious uncoupling using the collaborative approach. He describes how this supportive negotiation process works and compares collaboration to other methods of uncoupling finances when a couple's relationship comes to an end. Christopher also highlights the different supportive professionals that can join the collaborative uncoupling process.
“Getting some proper advice from a professional that's orientated towards resolving things is the critical piece.” - Christopher Arnold
