Patricia McLeod is a Corporate Director, Lawyer, and Compliance and Governance Advisor. She has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women for 2018 in the Accenture Corporate Director category, by WXN. She is the chairwoman of the board for the Calgary Co-op and the Calgary Film Centre. Patricia has an MBA from Queen’s University, and business and law degrees from the University of Alberta. She is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and is a regular speaker on governance, privacy, leadership, regulatory issues, and cybersecurity.

 

Patricia joins me today to share her knowledge on cybersecurity and governance preparedness, from the viewpoint of the company board. She reveals exactly what information is at risk for cybersecurity attacks and highlights the potential impact and cost of a malicious attack. Patricia shares what the board of directors should know and the questions they need to be asking regarding cybersecurity.
