“It's important to think about digital assets not just as an asset, but as a potential liability if it's not safeguarded.” - Demi McGoldrick

Today on I’m A Millionaire...So, Now What?:

  • What are digital assets?
  • The problems and emotional distress that can occur from having no provisions for digital assets.
  • The first steps of documenting and provisioning digital assets for an executor.
  • How to catalog your digital assets.
  • Why it is vital to protect against identity theft.
  • How to provision your digital assets in your will.

Three Key Steps to Provisioning Your Digital Assets:

  1. Acknowledge your digital assets have value.
  2. Take time to catalog all of your digital assets.
  3. Decide who will have authority over your digital assets.
