Shelley True is the President and Founder of TRUEdotDESIGN, an Ottawa-based marketing firm dedicated to providing results-driven branding and social media campaigns for clients within the construction, architecture, interior design, and property development industries. She is the co-founder of FORE-Play for Charity, a golf tournament for women to raise awareness and funds for the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health’s philanthropic program Women for Mental Health. She is the recipient of multiple awards including the 2016-17 Entrepreneur of the Year award by Distinctive Women. Additionally, in 2016, her company earned an industry record of ten Sales and Marketing Awards, including the prestigious Industry Partner of the Year Award, at GOHBA.
Shelley joins me today to discuss how FORE-Play for Charity started and the inspiration behind the event. She explains why we decided to host the event at The Marshes Golf Course this year and shares the highlights you can expect by attending. She also shares how Ottawa businesses can support the event, even if you’re unable to attend, and explains why we chose to support The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.
