Peter Dillon is a professional screen actor, entrepreneur, and
owner of the entertainment company BigTime Murder Productions. Having
appeared across film, TV, and radio for over 30 years, Peter now
entertains thousands of people every year through his comedic
interactive theater shows. He is a Top Forty Under 40
award recipient, was named Ottawa’s Top 50 People by
Ottawa Life Magazine and has performed in over a thousand
murder mystery shows.
Peter joins me today to discuss the trajectory of his successful
career spanning from his time as a screen actor through starting
his own entertainment company and how its success has taken him
around the world. He shares what motivated him to start his own
business and how the need for flexibility opened new opportunities.
He also shares how a serendipitous earthquake triggered a change in
his career direction, the importance surrounding yourself with
supportive people, and how being open to change and pivoting can
enhance your business and entrepreneurial growth.
“The key is being surrounded by wonderful people, but also being
able to pivot.” - Peter Dillon
