For many people, being wealthy means that you don’t need to worry about the day-to-day finances and you are free from money worries. Having money means you always have a choice. Beyond money, it is being able to contribute, make a difference, and being able to give to others without worrying about it negatively impacting your own life. Wealth also means having a big home, a wardrobe of shoes, a nice car, and the freedom to travel south for vacations.
But what happens if there is a detour on life's map?
Life’s detours can happen at any time and can be triggered by a change in health, the death of a loved one or a divorce. All of these unexpected changes can set you back if you are not financially prepared.
