Norm Brownstein is the director of sales at Oberon Capital, where he manages the distribution activities of the firm’s charity and investment products. He previously worked for another flow-through share donation provider, where he was responsible for the education of major gift donors. Norm has a financial career spanning more than 20 years and is the treasurer of the parent council of his children’s school. He has an MBA in finance from the Schulich School of Business, York University and a Bachelor of Engineering Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada.
Norm joins me today to share how flow-through strategies are an efficient way to donate. He describes the criteria for people who wish to donate using a flow-through strategy and reveals how flow-through shares work.
