Ryan Barresi is the Vice President and Sales Representative at Cushman & Wakefield, a company that offers full commercial real estate services. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College, has gained more than 20-years of experience in this field, and has worked for some of the largest investment firms in Canada. His specialty is working with developers, owners, and investors to acquire property with the view of generating a regular income. He has worked in a variety of fields within the real estate investment industry including the buying and selling of retail, industrial, business, and multi-residential properties.

 

Ryan joins me today to share how commercial real estate syndication investing works and the potential benefits and pitfalls. He describes the difference between residential and commercial real estate and reveals what the typical investor looks like. He also explains why self-made business owners choose syndications as part of their investment portfolio and he shares the due diligence that wealthy people should conduct before investing.
