Welcome back to the Covid-19, “I’m a Millionaire. So Now What?” mini-series! 🦠🎙🦠
I bring back some of my favourite guests to find out how they are, and what they're doing to keep their companies afloat and the economy moving.
This week, I caught up with Pete Dillon, President of BigTime Productions. An actor AND entrepreneur, he literally mixes “Show” and Biz.” 🎬 🎞 🍿
He’s entertained hundreds of thousands of people all over the world with Murder Mystery productions, and took the business virtual, to Zoom, when Covid-19 hit.
And guess what? It worked! 🌟🌟🌟
That’s the type of ingenuity and creative thinking needed while running a business during a pandemic.
Have a listen!
These times are strange to say the least and passion, purpose, grit and determination is what will help the Self Made Nation, us entrepreneurs, leaders and business owners, get through the “what’s next” of Covid-19.
Many companies that are succeeding are doing so because they embraced a new way of doing business. And one of the biggest has been the shift from Bricks and Mortar, to Clicks and Mortar!
Taking your business digital, whether with e-commerce, staff meetings and lead generation done via WebEx, or, as in the case of Pete Dillon, transforming your entire way of doing business through the use of the Zoom platform, has been helping many companies stay afloat these past months.
Pete tells us about going from heading up an “in real life” murder mystery powerhouse that’s entertained hundreds of thousands of people (and employed over fifty actors, writers and technicians) to the HUGE change he made when Covid-19 struck. By taking the murder mystery genre online, his story today is how a global pandemic ended up taking his company from a fairly regional scope to a worldwide scope – all because he was willing to step out of his comfort zone and take a few risks!
